Global Segment Leader for Welding

With a mechanical engineering background, Wil Healy III found a passion for people-centric technology early in his career. Being an enthusiastic communicator with an industrial automation focus, Will creates engaging discussions and helps manufacturers find the best solution for complex manufacturing problems.

Nils Kühle

CEO of FSK Group

Born 1985, apprenticeship as automotive mechatronics engineer, then started mechanical engineering studies, learned MIG/MAG and TIG welding, learned robot programming, worked in engineering for a TIER1 automotive supplier, founded own company with a colleague for robot programming, founded machine building company focused on Cobot welding in 2017.

Dr.-Ing. Gerrit Schlömer

CTO at KODA Group

Trained in electrical power supply, but then switched to steel processing and the automotive industry. Responsible for the machine park and infrastructure of an automobile press shop with additional CNC machining, welding shop and in-house mechanical engineering. From 0 to 10 Universal Robots in two years and further growth is planned.

Glenn Archer

VP Sales & Marketing at Melton Machine

Glenn Archer is the VP of Sales & Marketing for Melton Machine & Control Company. Melton designs and builds Automated equipment for a variety of markets, including robotic welding. Glenn has been with Melton for 8 years and is responsible for growing sales and developing new markets and new products. Glenn holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Missouri S&T and has 35+ years experience in selling and marketing to businesses that need automation.

Bryan Bird

Regional President, Americas

Bird, who has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, has also developed markets and accounts at Danaher Motion and GE Fanuc. Bird brings 20+ years of experience in industrial automation to UR, most recently as Vice President of Sales at TerraSource Global and Kollmorgen Corporation.

Jeremy King

Segment Product Manager – Welding

Jeremy King is an industrial automation expert with a passion for bringing innovation and creativity to his solutions. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Go Green! He has a diverse background in product development, from RV toilet deodorizers to cutting-edge IIOT solutions. He uses his unique insights to help Universal Robots produce the best human-scale welding robots on the planet.

Magnus Lirell

Sr. Global Application Engineer - Welding

Leading the Universal Robots Global Center of Excellence for Welding, Magnus has more than 25 years of robotic integration experience. He has a deep understanding of the challenges found in robotic welding and works closely with partners and customers to help them succeed with their collaborative welding applications.
