3 Options for Fabricators to Scale Welding Capacity

Three quarters of manufacturers are struggling with attracting and retaining a quality workforce while also trying to find ways to grow in an uncertain economy and limited access to good capital. While no one wants to turn away business, many fabricators today are having to do just this due to a lack of reliable skilled welding workforce where new welder training can take months or years and often there is zero time to wait. Business leaders are looking to automation to solve these challenges, but in an era where cobot welding systems are becoming increasingly popular, how do you choose the right one for your business?
With a unique position in the market, Red-D-Arc defeats these challenges with their BotX™ line of cobot welding systems. By addressing the skilled labor shortage thru intuitive automated collaborative welding tools, their newest BotX™ XSR provides advanced welding capabilities, process optimization expertise and fast support through an easy-to-use app. Combined with an innovative, on-demand and flexible model of short-term or long-term rentals, equipment leases and system purchase programs, customers can quickly scale up – or down – their production capacity to align with current business needs without major capital investment.
Join us for an insightful discussion between Will Healy III, Global Industry Manager for Welding at Universal Robots, Joe Holloway, VP - Automation at Red-D-Arc and Colin McOdrum, Automation Welding Specialist at Red-D-Arc. We will dive into the challenges faced by fabricators of all sizes and across North America, how manufacturing leaders are overcoming these headwinds with the unique advantages of the Red-D-Arc BotX™ XSR and fabricators with learn how deploying cobots for welding applications can increase productivity, drive consistency and boost welder engagement in your facility.
