Collaborative robotic welding has grown exponentially the last couple years, and now Hirebotics has taken it to the next level with the Cobot Welder, Powered by Beacon (TM), a new cloud-connected welding collaborative robot programmed through a standard cell phone app. This new product is powered by Hirebotics’ Beacon (TM) software which puts the power of automated welding in the palm of your hand, allowing users to teach a part, then monitor and track production in real time.

Mitch Dupon graduated from Conestoga College in Canada with a degree in Welding Engineering.  After spending 10 years with Panasonic Factory Automation, Mitch worked in the welding robotics group at KUKA Robotics then worked in cobot welding applications at Universal Robots, installing and implementing welding automation.

Joe Campbell

Head of US Marketing, Universal Robots

Joe Campbell is a 40-year veteran of the robotics industry. After executive assignments in sales, marketing, customer service and operations, Joe is now head of Americas marketing and applications development for Universal Robots. He regularly speaks to industry groups, associations, conferences and state and local governments on the benefits of robotic automation.
