The Cobot Zone: 3D Sensor Technology for Precision Bin Picking

Register here

About the Webinar:

ActiNav, the award-winning machine loading kit from Universal Robots, uses a unique combination of next generation technology to pick parts from bins and load them into machines in a very precise, consistent and agile manner. But many wonder: how can ActiNav so precisely pick and place such a wide variety of parts, ranging from mostly flat to curved parts, in sizes from 1-10 inches, sometimes shiny, with varying levels of light? The answer is the Photoneo 3D sensor, which is the focus of this 60-minute webinar. We’ll take a close-up look at the technology in this ultra-high resolution sensor that captures 3.2 million 3D points in every scan, enabling ActiNav to achieve this never-before-seen level of precise, consistent picks.
