Smaller, easier and quicker to program and typically less than half the cost of traditional industrial robots, collaborative robots are more than being noticed in helping manufacture high quality products and perform quality inspections. Cobots are able to perform a multitude of tasks, from assembly and dispensing to quality inspections. They are even an ideal coworker to take over certain production line cells, enabling human workers to stay socially distant when necessary. 

About the Presenter:

Mike Szesterniak

Area Sales Manager, Universal Robots

Mike Szesterniak is the Midwest Area Sales Manager for Universal Robots, responsible for managing sales engineers and channel partners to drive sales growth. Prior to joining UR, Mike spent 17 years in Parker Hannifin’s Automation Group, working his way up from application engineer to territory sales manager to regional sales manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University of Wisconsin – Madison and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
